Everyday Eats
As you have probably gathered from my posts – a large part of my meals are basically the same day in and day out. My husband calls me “rut girl” – he can’t eat the same thing all the time and laughs at me! So, I thought I would have a page that shows what I eat most days all in one place. You can be sure unless I post otherwise, this is what I had to eat today!:
Post workout – GNC 100% whey protein chocolate shake (made w/ water)
Breakfast – 5 egg whites, green pepper, red onion, ground turkey and shredded non-fat cheese
Mid-morning snack – Oats! I eat the steel cut oats – I prefer McCann’s brand right now, 1/2 scoop of GNC 100% whey protein vanilla, cinnamon and then some flax seed or chia seeds
Lunch – Salad – I like to use spring mix, romaine or spinach- about 2 cups, chopped tomatoe, cucumber and red onion. Then I top it with grilled chicken, canned tuna or deli turkey. We’ve been testing out different vinaigrettes. We’re trying to keep the calories to 45/tbspn on those.
Afternoon snack – here I mix it up!
Late afternoon snack – a Pure Protein bar
